About Us
Jericho Kids' Club (J.K.C) began at Bayview Community Elementary School in 1989, then at General Gordon Elementary School in 1991 and, finally, at Southlands Elementary School in 2002. All of the centres are licensed under the
Community Care Facilities Act to serve children from K - 12 yrs.
J.K.C is proud to meet and exceed licensing standards by providing screened, trained and educated Staff, appropriate child-to-staff ratios as well as suitable facilities and equipment.
J.K.C has strong relationships with its host schools. These relationships are integral to the quality of the centres and the well being of the children and families they serve.

Parent Advisory Committee (P.A.C)
Jericho Kids' Club has a rich history of parent and family involvement. In 1987-88, a group of parents created Jericho Kids' Club and established a
Parent Advisory Committee (P.A.C). This committee helps set goals, influence the philosophy of the centre, and advises and directs future action taken by the centre. The
P.A.C is comprised of the Executive Director and parents from Bayview, General Gordon and Southlands schools. Members of the
P.A.C are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (A.G.M). All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
